I didn’t find much about the Flashpoint, neither info nor pictures; so probably it didn’t last that long or was not that trandy. It opened in 1974 along the Kurfürstendamm, about around the subway station Uhlandstraße. It was located in the basement of the Ku’damm-Karree, opposite the Theater am Kurfürstendamm.
Ku’damm-Karree was a building complex that hosted a multi-purpose facility, an underground car park and a high and caracterist skyscraper. The skyscraper was renovated with a new facade in 1994 so, since then, it’s different from the one in the 70s. In May 2018, the first building demolition work took place on the square for a new building, but the high-rise will remain.
